A core component of SOR™ is Collaborative Response Graphics®, which are high-resolution imagery that transforms written and text-based emergency operations plans into a gridded, floor-by-floor overlay that first responders can access via their smart devices or computers. As a result, first responder teams can instantly visualize their physical location on the actual building plan in real time. Available through our relationship with Critical Response Group, Inc. (CRG) the geospatially accurate graphics offer everything users need to know to coordinate emergency response inside and outside of a structure, including room labels, hallway names, external door/stairwell numbers, and key utility locations. The solution also provides a common operating picture and language for all responding emergency agencies and field commanders.
CRG’s Collaborative Response Graphics are in use in more than 300 schools, as well as multiple commercial buildings and transportation hubs throughout the United States. In addition, police chief associations from Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Indiana have recognized the use of CRG’s products as a best practice when it comes to planning for and responding to active threat incidents.
