When a threat is detected on a campus or business complex, confusion, panic and misinformation rob first responders of the precious seconds they need to identify, pinpoint and eliminate it. To remove human error and save lives, ACG Solutions has created a framework of technologies called Synchronized Orchestrated Response (SOR™) to automate the threat response. SOR features an optimal combination of surveillance, gunshot and motion detection technologies, access controls, and lockdown procedures, along with alert notification solutions to provide law enforcement and other first responders with real-time situational awareness intelligence and other critical location and visual information to coordinate a fast, informed and effective response.
A core component of SOR™ is Collaborative Response Graphics®, which are high-resolution imagery that transforms written and text-based emergency operations plans into a gridded, floor-by-floor overlay that first responders can access via their smart devices or computers. As a result, first responder teams can instantly visualize their physical location on the actual building plan in real time. Available through our relationship with Critical Response Group, Inc. (CRG) the geospatially accurate graphics offer everything users need to know to coordinate emergency response inside and outside of a structure, including room labels, hallway names, external door/stairwell numbers, and key utility locations. The solution also provides a common operating picture and language for all responding emergency agencies and field commanders.
CRG’s Collaborative Response Graphics are in use in more than 300 schools, as well as multiple commercial buildings and transportation hubs throughout the United States. In addition, police chief associations from Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Indiana have recognized the use of CRG’s products as a best practice when it comes to planning for and responding to active threat incidents.
